My take on
SwiftUI Pro (twostraws/SwiftUI-Agent-Skill) after testing it on Linux:
- π Building apps needs a Mac. SwiftUI only compiles with Apple's tools, so I couldn't build or run anything here.
- β
The skill itself works anywhere. It's Markdown, and Claude Code used it on Linux in 85 seconds.
- π It caught the right things on my test screen: VoiceOver couldn't use the reset icon, a fixed font size, deprecated navigation, and money formatted by hand.
- π οΈ The fixes look like modern SwiftUI (NavigationStack, foregroundStyle, currency formatting), but I couldn't compile them to check.
- π Worth it for anyone writing SwiftUI with an AI assistant. Test the result in Xcode.
"No Mac, no app, but the skill still made the AI write cleaner, more accessible SwiftUI."
